Project Galapagos / Products / Clopen
No more clopens.
Shift schedules your staff actually read.
Clopen turns the roster spreadsheet you already keep into a personal, mobile-first shift view for every employee — their shifts, the calendar, and who's working today — so a late close followed by an early open never comes as a surprise. Built for cafes, restaurants and small shops.
엑셀 근무표 그대로, 직원 한 명 한 명의 손안으로.
마감하고 다음 날 오픈하는 근무, 이제 미리 보이게.
Ran Feb–Sep 2026 at Company N's cafe · roster synced every 30 min · 1,103 automated tests. No new system for owners, no app store install for staff.
The problem
The roster lives in a spreadsheet.
Your team lives on their phones.
Small teams with hourly staff run on a weekly roster that someone builds in Excel. Then it gets screenshotted, pinch-zoomed and asked about all week.
Built for the owner, not the reader
A full-team grid is great for planning, but hard for one person to read on a small screen.
The same questions, every week
“Am I on Saturday?” “Who's closing tonight?” “Did my day off go through?”
Changes get lost
When the sheet is updated, old screenshots keep circulating in the group chat.
Why the name
clo·pen /ˈkloʊ.pən/
noun, shift-work slang. Closing the store late at night, then coming back to open it early the next morning.
Clopens are a fact of life in cafes and restaurants — and they hurt most when nobody saw them coming. Clopen puts each person's week on their own phone, so a close-then-open is visible at a glance instead of buried in a team-wide grid.
클로픈(Clopen): 밤에 마감(close)하고 다음 날 아침 오픈(open)까지 하는 근무. 우리 앱의 이름이자, 줄이고 싶은 것.
How it works
Keep your spreadsheet. Give everyone their own view.
Clopen doesn't ask owners to rebuild their schedule in a new tool. It reads the roster you already make.
Keep the roster you already use
Use your existing Excel roster. In the pilot it synced automatically every 30 minutes; v2 imports it from SharePoint.
